Rooftop bars in Melbourne aren’t unique to this city, but they are infamous never-the-less. Kind of like New York’s pizza or Greece’s islands. They’re just better here.
There’s a reason Melburnians have flocked to this stunning location for decades and why tourism numbers are forever on the up. The charming peninsula is crowded with cute beachside towns all complete with calm beaches of white sand and crystal blue waters and cute fishing jetty’s dotted along the coastline.

Happy New Year! It’s officially 2016. Didn’t that come around quickly? New Years Eve is a special occasion for people all around the world as it means the start of a new chapter for many people with new goals set, milestones to look forward to and resolutions no one will keep after January 6th. It also means saying ‘adios’ to the good and the bad of the year that’s passed with a bang. A bang of fireworks usually, and maybe some alcohol on the side.
2015 has been my biggest year of traveling to date and as it comes to an end I’m reflecting on the year that was. I traveled around 29 unique countries across 5 continents. Some of those travels with friends, some with family and some completely solo.
Thailand is without a doubt one of the most visited countries in Asia and it’s continually growing in popularity. Backpackers love it as a cheap destination rich in beautiful beaches, delicious food and an exciting nightlife. It also doesn’t hurt that Thai people have been noted as the friendliest in the world.
I owe some of my most treasured memories to travel. Theres a reason I’m so obsessed with seeing the world, and I smile every time I look back at these moments in particular. I was most likely thinking something along the lines of “I love my life” at the time.
