The Most Popular Places for New Years Eve Celebrations Around The World

Happy New Year! It’s officially 2016. Didn’t that come around quickly? New Years Eve is a special occasion for people all around the world as it means the start of a new chapter for many people with new goals set, milestones to look forward to and resolutions no one will keep after January 6th. It also means saying ‘adios’ to the good and the bad of the year that’s passed with a bang. A bang of fireworks usually, and maybe some alcohol on the side. This year, thanks to Snapchat, I got to see just how people across the world were celebrating the end of 2015. And it got me thinking about all the unique celebrations that take place across the globe. Having always been an optimist of the festive night that leaves most disappointed and of course being obsessed with any excuse to get on a plane, I’ve looked into some of the craziest cities to shout “3, 2, 1” in and why they make the night so special. My 10 Favourite Party Cities in Europe

Europe is the ultimate destination for a lot of things, and you can bet partying is one of those. Other ‘top party cities’ lists will include the typical tourist spots. Paris, Rome, Amsterdam etc etc. But in my opinion, those big cities are not as crazy as they’re talked up to be. Of course they have potential, but most of the time these kinds of places are bursting with historical attractions as the highlight and the nightlife is either far from the city centre, very spread out throughout a large metropolitan or filled with a lot of big tourist traps. I’ll cut to the chase and tell you what destinations are traveler friendly party spots. Places where it’s easy to find a good party and easy to meet other travelers.

How to decide where to go on a short trip to Europe

Europe may not be large in size compared to other continents across the world, but it definitely is enormous in what it offers for travelers. If you have months of time to travel through Europe, then deciding where to go might not be too big of an issue. But if you’re one of the majority of us with a two or – if you’re lucky – three week vacation period, it can be tricky to decide where to visit. Here, I’ve tried to make that decision a little bit easier (but seriously, good luck!)

Top 5 Secrets to Cheap Flights Online (that you probably haven’t heard before)

It’s always one of the biggest questions people ask me about travel, and for good reason. Flight’s can be expensive. And if not, the cheap options can be dodgy and take 31 hours to get anywhere because of multiple stops along the way. Having always booked my own flights, and always searching for a bargain, I’ve created some of my own techniques that have saved me hundreds of dollars.

My secret to the cheapest flights

Wanna know a secret to cheap flights? http://www.skyscanner.com.au is probably the best website I have found that provides cheap flight options from almost every flight company around the globe. It is easy to use and combines not only different airlines, but sources from other travel agencies such as Flight Centre and STA Travel as well as other budget flight sites such as Skiddoo, ifly.net and eDreams.
