A must see island when visiting the Philippines 😍

Beautiful Boracay ✨

It is such a relaxing place and doesn’t need a lot of time. Even just two days was enough. It could be the perfect last stop on your Philippines adventure after all the waterfalls, snorkelling and boat trips you’re gonna do. Just relax on the beach, go kayaking and chill 👌

You can get direct flights to Caticlan Airport from Manila & Cebu and then it’s a short 15 minute ferry from there to paradise.

This cute 2D themed cafe was such a hidden gem. The local woman who owns it said she painted it all herself but doesn’t get many visitors which broke my heart 😢 the cafe is close to Tabanan, not too far from Canggu. Highly recommend a little detour to come visit if you’re on your way up north 🥰

@thegrounds in Sydney has just been given this title so I had to share my favourite photo from there. I’ve been several times and they always have different displays and definitely go all out with the detail.

Such a pretty spot 🥰 check their instagram to see what theme they have at the moment.

Boracay was so beautiful 😍 I remember when I first learnt about the Philippines and started looking into visiting. Boracay seemed like the most popular destination but slowly other islands have gained popularity instead. Boracay island was closed to tourism for a while to rehabilitate the island so maybe this is why but it really shows that they truly care for the environment here with how pristine the beaches are.

There isn’t a heap to do here which means it’s nice & relaxing but here’s some recommendations:

🏝️ White Beach (all photos except 10)
🪨 Willy’s Rock
🛶 rent a crystal kayak (magical at sunset too)
🏖️ Puka Beach
🌴 Leaning Coconut Tree (pic 10)
🥤 get a smoothie from Jonah’s
🔥 watch the fire dance show @redcoconutboracay
🥙 eat @falafelboracay

Just around from popular Leke Leke Waterfall is this beautiful spot called Campuhan Antapan Waterfall. Best thing is how quiet it is! I went in the middle of the day and there were some local kids swimming in the river that the falls run into right by it but I had the whole place to myself for an hour.

There’s a love heart seat/structure and swing here for photos too.

Such an impressive waterfall, look how tiny I look when I’m right up next to it! 😂 it’s one of my fave little secret hidden gems in Bali and definitely one to add to your travel bucket lists. Go before it gets popular!

My first Philippines sunset did not disappoint 😍

This is on White Beach (next to Willy’s Rock lol) in stunning Boracay. This island is the definition of a tropical paradise.

You can rent these crystal kayaks all along the beach for 400 PHP for half an hour. Highly recommend doing this during the day as the water is so clear (will share on stories soon) and then again at sunset. Magic ✨ 🌅
