My Helicopter Flight Over the Grand Canyon

I can’t be the only person to have this on my bucket list. I finally got to live one of my ultimate dreams, to see the Grand Canyon via helicopter. It was the best 21st present from my dad. My family came to the states to see me for my birthday and this was definitely a highlight.

If you were ever to choose a dream destination for a helicopter ride, this would be the perfect place. Seeing it on foot is great, but it is from above that you can marvel at just how deep it’s gorges are and how far it stretches. As far as the eye can see. You can opt for flights from Las Vegas or from right next to the Grand Canyon.

If I were to ever do it again, I would definitely choose a longer one, having only chosen the 25 minute one. Whilst it was great, it definitely wasn’t long enough to take in this landmark and one for over double the amount of time was not too much extra.

Make sure to book in advance, especially in summer months.
